Matthew 6:22-23 New International Version (NIV)
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE ~
Be careful not to judge others with your natural eyes
Matthew 7:3-5 New International Version (NIV)
“Why do you look at the speck of saw dust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
I PRAY ~
THE EYES OF YOUR HEART BE ENLIGHTENED
Ephesians 1:18-20 New International Version (NIV)
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms.
MY EYES ~
My eyes have seen the goodness of the Lord. I have seen miracles and I know within my soul God can do anything. I also have learned that my timing is certainly not God's timing things. I have seen things happen that turned my thoughts to anger to God. I didn't know why certain things happen in life. For example, why did my brother die on Christmas Day and why do others die we love? Why does God give and take away at times? What's the big plan anyway? Then I started to grow in God. I realized so much more as I turned my thoughts to his ways. Praying for my self that my anger would leave and help me understand things of life. I was only 32 years old when my brother died and I now that I am 63, I certainly have seen a lot.
Ephesians 4:26-30 King James Version (KJV)
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
OUR EYES ~
We must purpose good thoughts, positive actions and leaning on God in all things. Looking deep within yourself today and allow yourself to bring out the positive. So many things change us and there are times when I stop just to give thanks for all the good I have seen in life. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
