In time of need, we do turn to people who pray. People might turn to you to pray too. Prayer is the connection with God and he does help us through the hardest things of life. He also shares the best times of life with us too. God can give you peace in all you do.
Psalm 139:13-14 New International Version (NIV)13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
YOUR EXAMPLE MATTERS ~
You were knitted together in your mother's womb.
God has created you for purpose. Only you can do what you were created to do in life. No need to compare your life with anyone else. There is only one you and that's important to remember. Stay connected with God and he will continue to guide you through seasons of life. I know many people who have turned away from God and followed their own way. I've done that myself in years past.
I became hurt over church situations and people's words hurt so bad. I stayed out of church for almost one year after my brother died from cancer on Christmas Day. I was 32 years old and filled with hurt. I was grieving the loss of my brother, but also friends that weren't friends at all. Life changed for us and I look back to see how I could have handle things so different. Yet, we can not live in regret because there is nothing we can do about some past things of life. I look at what I did do, I felt a tug in my heart to start going back to church. I took that first step and found God meeting me right where I was at in life. A new beginning happened and my family started back to church. It didn't happen over night but the process taught me something I can teach now. We need each other in life.
Each of our experiences can help someone else in life. I know my life helps others, but I also know that your life helps others. Share with God has done and how you might have done things different too. Life is short and we must allow God to use our lives. I continue to learn from others and change is good, but remember that change can be hard. Let your light shine to others and be the one to make a difference today. Share hope and promises of God. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I continue to give God thanks for using my life.
