We can always add to our lives. Throughout the Bible is much encouragement. Our thoughts change after we have surrender our lives to God. His plan is not always our plan and we sometimes are face to adjust our schedules.
Proverbs 3:6 New Living Translation
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
A roadmap shows us how to get from one place to another place. We look for road signs with names or a certain landmark to turn our cars by while driving. We might think to turn left and God is wanting us to turn right. It means letting go of somethings and not leaning to our own understanding. God has a much larger plan for each of us.
Have you ever made a decision and you immediately knew it was a wrong decision? The Bible says that we must SEEK God with ALL of you do. That means to think about things and be open to change. So changes in our lives are almost unbearable. There are times when we are at the cross roads of life. Which way to turn and staying on the right path. Our one decision leads to another one.
We often look for mentors or people who have gone a few more miles in life than we have taken. I never knew a grandmother or grandfather. People who lay down wisdom before us and open our understanding to days gone by in life. But I do remember my mom speaking of walking to school in cold weather. She held a hot potato in hand in order to get to school and then eat the potato for lunch. Her path of life as a lot different than mine. I never had to hold a hot potato to keep my hands warn while walking. She live under snow conditions and I never had that either.
My mother's mom died when was five years old. She really didn't know a mom and it shaped in her in many ways. She never felt really wanted in life. She began to tell me more stories before she passed away in the care home. I saw her different as she explained things to doctor's and people who took her blood. I could see her pain through her eyes and here her voice different in the last days. I can also see how I could have handle things different if I had another chance. But I don't and now I can use it in teaching and helping others. One day and one life is so very important.
YOUR LIFE is important! Never doubt that someone watches your life and you will become an example even to people you don't even know. I see it in stores and I hear people talk. Their sad moments in everyone's life but there is also happy moments and memories too. Each day matters and we need to live it in joy of the Lord and freedom of regrets.
Have you ever did your best and felt it wasn't good enough? It becomes time to realize your thoughts to God and move into a new place of speaking life words over your mind. Lean not to your own understanding will keep the hope alive and change you. Let us talk a look, its a new day! New thoughts, new choices and new beginnings.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family/friends. Life is short and I want you to know that you make a difference and your life is important. Thank you for taking the time to read this today. Somethings we never make sense to the human brain, so lean on God. Let things go you can not change and certainly change the things you can!
