Psalm 139:1-6 (NIV)
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
YOU KNOW ME ~
And I am suppose to be different. God created each of us unique!
Psalm 139:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
If we could only see ourselves the way God does. We often put too much pressure on ourselves to be perfect or like someone else. We were never suppose to be anyone but ourselves. Our stories can spur someone else on in life. Just knowing that someone has gone through something like I have, makes the ear want to listen to them. How did you get through it and how did you feel?
During change of life, we change. Let us not change so much that we forget who we are in God. We are his child and forgiven of sins. Another day of life, brings another chance to do something better. Learn each day of life and take the positive away with it. A praise at the end of the night and a thankful heart for a new day. God works things out for our good.
Romans 8:28 New International Version (NIV)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
YOU KNOW ME ~
I love how God knows me and there are people in my life that know me too. They know my heart and know that my intentions are good. I will never forget the day Laura (Manager at Starbucks) my friend, presented me with an award for making a difference in the community. Her words were so heart felt and she made such a difference in my life. As she told me that my example makes a difference in others lives, I felt tears come up. We don't often see that our lives make a difference, but it is incredible when someone tells you what they see from your life that is good. I thank God for Laura and her example of kindness as people come into her Starbucks store and I hear laughter from the employees. She is truly an example too.
Your example shines my friends. Don't doubt that God changes one's life to greatness. Old things are passed away and all things are new when you turn your heart to God. Purpose this a good day and share kindness. Someone watches your example!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
