Philippians 4:4-7 New International Version (NIV)
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The last few days, I have written about miracles in my life. I have learned to trust God through everyday of life. I know that somethings won't happen the way I think or even want in life. Yet, I know that somethings will be turned around a true miracle will happen. The Bible speaks on having faith as a grain of mustard seed. Only a little goes along way.
Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
YET ~ I WILL TRUST YOU GOD
Rejoice in the Lord always, rejoice.........
I remember when my kids were little, they would ask me to pray about a test or something hard they had to face. I prayed this, "God help them today with this test, bring back to their memories everything they studied for the test and even thing they didn't study". I can see my daughter's face as she would leave for that test. She would come back happy that the test went well. I feel the same way about a doctor's report. Sometimes all we can do is our best. Then trust the Doctor and God that things will turn into a good report. I have seen too much to doubt that prayer works.
My example is important and so is yours to others. I have people in my life that call me or text me when they want prayer. They trust my connection with God and theirs too. The Bible says this:
Matthew 18:20 New International Version (NIV)For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
It is so great to know that God is with us at all times. Where do you put your trust today? Do you trust God has he has a plan for your life? A plan for the person you are praying for too? The Bible says:
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
I don't know why somethings happen in our lives. I can look back and see some whys answered but I believe I might never know some other whys of life. I do trust the Lord and I have learned over time not to lean to my own understanding. Just a deep breathe and a yes to God no matter what he says. God knows what's ahead and he knows whats behind us. Be confident of who you are and who you belong too. God is able and keep telling yourself that. God's timing is not always our timing but it's always right on time!
Purpose this a good day.
