We turned our clocks forward last night. Loosing an hour of sleep, but gaining light longer. I'm not a fan of the dark and enjoying having daylight longer. As season change in our lives, I find myself saying: YES IT IS TIME ~ to grow in God even more.
Jeremiah 17:8 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.
YES IT IS TIME ~
To stay solid in God and HIS word
Looking around we can see the importance of rain. It brings beauty to things around us and water gives life to so much. There is not reason to fear or to doubt because God has a plan for us to bear fruit. Through all seasons, we learn to build our lives upon God.
Matthew 7:24-29 New International Version (NIV)
The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
Time changes things and changes us ~
Each season of life bring good harvest and some hard things. It brings our minds to wonder and our souls to call upon God. Days of victories and days of pushing through to seek God. We learn and grow on a daily bases. We trust and begin again in life. We hold tight to living water and we know that God will handle our now. Build your life on the solid foundation of God. I believe greater things our in this day that God has made.
The time changed last night and we moved ahead. Let us remember that God does give and take away in our lives. Let us also remember we are created by God for this day. I read in the book of Job this:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” – Job 1:21
Let us make the best of today~
As you continue to grow, I continue to pray for you, your family and friends.
