YES HE DID ~
God knew you before you were born.
His plan started and is not finished yet. I believe there are some readers who have desires they are still waiting on in life. Maybe it's to be married, have children, have a broken heart healed, a new beginning, and the list goes on. So many desires of one heart and so many different places are life is in right now. God is faithful and I know that!
God set you apart ~ why?
Because only you can do what he has called you to do.
Esther 4:14 (NIV)
14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS ~ It's your time
God spoke to Ester and through Ester. Now he created you for purpose. I remember my beginning year of teaching at Hillside Christian Church. It was over 10 years ago and I didn't feel qualified to teach woman at that time. Yet, our women's director at that time was Rene', felt I was to teach a certain book. The Title of that book, "What Makes A Man Feel Loved". Half of my class was single and half was married. We totally learned from each other. It pointed out things married women complained about, that single women wished they had. It also pointed out strong points on both side.
The story continues are I said yes to teach and it changed my life for over 10 years now. It was meant then and now for such as time as this. Sharing hope and faithfulness to women of all ages. I never would have thought God would put me in this position and I love it. Rene' moved to another church and I continued teaching on Wednesday nights. I love co-leading with Darlene (Our Women's Pastor) and we see miracles take place. So much happens in one service, it's hard to explain the excitement of a weekly meeting with friends, but knowing that God has a plan for that night.
Where has God brought you from and where is he taking you too?
Thoughts and questions ran through my mind. I knew in 2004 that God was leading me to women's ministry. I can look back at those days and see how scared I was. I feel stronger than ever right now and I see the importance of one yes to God. It continues to open doors for what God wants in my life.
One yes from you to God means what?
There is no way to know that depth of that, but one yes is very important.
Sometimes we must do things scared and God gives peace beyond measure. God set you apart for such a time as this. Go forward in thoughts and prayers. Put it out there and believe big. Look back as see how far he has brought you from in life. He has connected you to amazing person when you pray. He can put you in the right church and new friendships begin. He never wanted us to live this life alone, but to challenge us to read the word of God and live it. Also to be connected in life with others.
This is our last day in Disneyland today and I was talking to my son last night. The parade and fireworks were going to happen. We were trying to find a place to watch them. Chad looked at me and said, "I guess things don't stay the same". Such a true statement and I saw the look in his eyes. Change happens and we sometimes want the way there were, but that doesn't always happen. I was disappointed too and I felt his heart. So we make the best of things are we learn a different way of doing things.
Our world is changing before us. To much violence and the lack of caring about another human. Let us do our best to care for others. To love like Jesus loves and to show it. To reach far before our thoughts and trust God without limits. He can do it and will bring good things your way.
Friends, I do care about you, your family and friends. I pray daily for courage to face the things you must face, wisdom, knowledge, health, finances and all the desires of your heart! God is a promise keeper, but we must continue to do our part too. Giving thanks for this connection today and my prayers do continues.
