Genesis 9:12-16 New International Version (NIV)
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
There are somethings of life, I just know. I know the power of God and his amazing love is real. I know that I couldn't live this life without God. Asking Jesus into my heart was one of the best things I ever did. How about you? Have you asked Jesus into your heart? I was teaching class last night and realized the power of forgiveness of God. We talked about Hosea and his love for his wife. Even after she sinned and he ransom her. He continued to follow God's plan. David was also another person who sinned and God knew his heart. David had consequences that followed his life and he continued his love for God. God continued his love for David.
There is a big wonder of life and death. It's the in between times that changes us in life. The hard stuff of life leads us and we might not realize it. I wouldn't change a thing about my past, because it has helped me be who I am today. I am a person who messed up in life and I've changed the pain of that. I have honestly went to God and carry a heart like David. I want to do my best daily and surrender my will to God's will daily. That means I might wonder about somethings, but I know God is at work in me. Nothing is too big for God to handle in your life. The Bible says to ask God and to seek him with all your heart. I love that we can see a rainbow and the power behind it.
My thoughts and prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
