James 1:12 New International Version (NIV)
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
WHY GOD ~
I can look back on my life and see how I questioned God on things. I have found that somethings may never get an answer too. We are taught as kids in school to raise our hands if we have a question. I find myself raising my hands to God and asking him things that only he can answer. Yet, I find myself in silence and I must be careful not to let my mind wonder to far.
I was watching an interview of Marie Osmond on TV. She was talking about how her faith in God brings her through things that are hard. She talk a little about her son dying and three brothers going through tough medical things. Life can be tough, but she finds her peace in God. My question to you today is this, do you find your peace in God through hard situations?
I have learned to stop questioning on somethings of life. I can look back and see why somethings did not happen and I am now so glad it didn't. I find it best to pray God's will in my life and allow him freedom to mold me. Through each situation of life, I choose to hold onto God. When those times seem too hard to hold on, I always call someone who will hold on with me. Joining with someone in prayer is a must at times of life.
WHY GOD ~
What happens when you get the doctor's report of things will only get worse? You go to God with all your heart and believe he can do a miracle. I must be honest, it is hard to hold on when it's you. We do question, why me? Why did this happen to me? Why won't God give me a miracle today? All questions that are real and needs answers. I can only say, I don't know why you? I don't know why this happen and I feel so sad to hear this news. Yet, I must believe a miracle of health for you? I must believe a miracle health for your family member or friend. I know that God is able!
1 Peter 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV)In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
I remember as a kid, my mom would say, "stop asking why, it is because I said no". It wasn't an answer to a little kid of just no. I go back to school days and my teacher would always say, "ask questions". Questions are good because you want to learn. It didn't work that way inside my house and I quickly learned that no, just meant no. What about with God, do you think he gets tired of the same questions? Do you think God just wants us to trust him and lean on him? Maybe we won't know all the answers we want in life. Let God be your refuge and cast down the enemy that wants to distract you from God can.
Deuteronomy 33:27 New International Version (NIV)
The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
He will drive out your enemies before you,
saying, ‘Destroy them!’
I know this, God is able and our yes to him is important! My thoughts and prayers continue for you, your family and friends. If you feel like you are up against a wall of doubt, struggles, worries, fears and more, then remind the devil that he is wrong. Walk in God's favor, love, grace, mercy and purpose time in thinking positive.
