As a child, I wanted to grow up and have kids. I wanted to be a great mom and play with them. I missed out on so much growing up and I wanted to give my kids everything I could, but especially time. Time tends to move slow on certain days and so fast on others. Yet, it seemed as if I turned around my kids grew up to be teenagers and then kid/adults. All grown that small little girl and little boy are not adults.
Now I am a grandmother and I can say the same thing about my granddaughters. I held them as babies and now the oldest is 6 years old. I look back upon pictures and wonder this question: WHERE DID THE TIME GO ~
Life tends to run by a clock and by ages. I remember my granddaughter in Kindergarten last year worried about a test the teacher (Ms. Messner) said they were going to have. This is one of the best teachers I have ever seen in action. She gave the test and the class didn't even know they had the test. My granddaughter said, "Grammie, it was easy and I did good". The worry was off of her now and the rest of the day was great. It is common to worry over things we face. As we grow older, we find more test will come in school and in our adult life. Brining us a new level of the word test and the outcome is not just a grade, but an outcome we must face.
BIBLE SAYS:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New International Version
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
CLOCK OF GOD ~
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 New International Version
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Let us be encouraged today that each day has purpose. Each thought has purpose and we are to encourage ourselves and not let the enemy of our soul win. The devil can not tell the truth and wants to divide you from purpose. When I hang around someone who is up lifting and sharing good news, my heart is happy. When I around people who keep complaining all the time, there is a problem inside of them and I only know to pray, plus encourage them. People's attitudes can rub off on you if you are not careful. There is a time we can be grouchy and that's okay. There is a time to cry and then smile again. We go through emotions and trouble of life, but the good must out weigh the bad.
The test of school, work, home and all that life brings, you still have choices. Choices to study the word of God and know his plan for your life. Choices of keeping a good attitude even in things you don't understand. Let this day is a good one while you see the clock tick away. Purpose good thoughts and move forward. Thank you for taking the time to read this and plant hope inside your heart. YES, you are important and yes your life makes a difference!
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends! Thank you for taking the time to read this today and share it with a friend.
