I think of how God loves us and gives us second chances of life. Not only second, but many chances to change our lives to do his will. It's not a little thing, but it's a moment in time when we give our lives to God. A true surrender and he watches us come to him. Asking forgiveness frees our souls and our attitudes will change too. There is a new way of looking at life and I'll never forget that moment I say yes to God. How about you? Do you remember your moment with God? A true surrender and starting to learn about a better way of thinking? I have found in life, that doing what is right, is right. It's not always easy, but good to do what is right.
John 3:16-17 ~New International Version
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
WHAT'S HAPPENING ~
People watch our lives and we might be the only positive example in someone's life. A moment of meeting someone and friendship grows. A moment on a job with meeting someone and that moment turns into a friendship. It is true, our kindness can go along way.
Ephesians 4:32 ~ New International VersionBe kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ~ New International Version4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
WHAT'S HAPPENING ~
Kindness, love, truth, compassion and trust
Let us stop today and give God thanks for all the beautiful moments of life. Times we will forgive his wonder and blessings to us. The small miracles that turned into huge things because God is at work. Nothing is impossible with God, but our actions make such a difference. Looking through eyes of grace and mercy brings about compassion toward others too. Let us kindness shine like the sun and spread hope in a new day. During this pandemic time of life in 2020, we sure need some sunshine and smiling faces we can't see behind masks. Let you words become a smile to someone today.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
