WHO WILL HELP ME?
Luke 15:4-6 New International Version (NIV)
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’
WHAT IS MISSING ~
Sometimes in life, we run away from the one God who can help us!
We look through eyes that seem to be blurry and blame God for things he never did. It was your own free will and choices that got you where you are in life. Ugly spots can certainly turn around as you surrender your heart to God. Surrender is a huge word, because not everyone wants what God wants for them, they want what they want for them!
I am happy to say that somebody ran after me when I was broken. When I made mistakes and felt alone in life. When everything I knew to be normal, came crashing down. Someone saw the verses above and showed action in finding me in my lost place of life. God puts it upon a heart or hearts to speak the word of God in actions. We need each other and we need people in our lives that will pray for us, when we just can not pray ourselves. That is how this blog got started years ago. I have people in my life that pray for me behind the scenes of my life and we each need.
Hebrews 10:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
There will be days when you need encouragement and days that I need encouragement. We have connected in life for a bigger purpose than we might know. God comes to save us, but we often run from his plan. Jeremiah 29:11 A Plan, A Promise and A Future is set before us.
It's a new day and we must spur ourselves on, so we can spur someone else on in life. Life is too short to get stuck on the negative. Remind yourself that you are stronger than you might think and you can handle this day with the grace of God he gives you. It's time to move forward and take yet another step in life's journey.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
