22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
WHAT IF ~
What if every morning you saw a new day as hope? A reflection of God's mercy and grace as we look into a mirror of our soul. God's forgiving power reminds us of his love. Nothing can change the love God has for you. All of us make mistakes of life and God's love remain faithful. I love looking at a rainbow because it's a promise from God, but also his power. Who else could create such a beauty in the sky. There is a beginning and end to the rainbow.
GOD'S LOVE ~
I was talking to a person and they only saw their now. Complaining about life and what God has not done. I mention somethings I had seen God done for them. Reminding this person of God's beauty in their life. I quickly heard their conversation change to this, "yeah but God hasn't done.....". I think it hard for people to get out of their moment of life. I often think of this as a child wanting something else while they just got something. For example, Christmas was just over and at school I heard a little boy say, but I didn't get this toy I wanted. So I asked him if he got something he did want and he said, "OH YES". My point today is this, God loves us in all times of life. I hope we can see the things God gives us daily like breathe, a new day, a chance to make a difference and reaching out beyond ourselves.
God knows you ~ Psalm 139:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
GOD'S LOVE ~
Remains the same daily and our choice is to serve him with all our hearts.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
