Galatians 6:7-10 New International Version (NIV)
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
WHAT IF ~
We live in action of God's word
Things change and the Bible says a man reaps what he sows. If you do good, good is coming back to you. If you walk by faith, you believe in the unseen things God is about to do for you. Nothing is too big for God and staying in the channel of his love.
Matthew 7:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
WHAT IF ~
Today God open the most amazing door in your life? What if we saw the glass half full and not half empty? What if's can happen all day long, but putting your hope and trust in God is so important. Sunday morning means I have an opportunity to go to Church, connect with amazing people and worship God. I must be honest, I haven't always liked going to Church and I can look back to see much pain at times. My husband and I attend a few churches that were not totally lead by God or his word (Bible). We see things different as we have aged and we know the importance of attending the right church. A church filled with God word (Bible) and humans trying to live it. Living according to the Bible is your church too. What if you tried again and the church you attend is amazing. You will never know unless you try. By trying again, we have been at our church now for 18years and find it refreshing to go to on a Sunday or other special services.
I remember we had a Wednesday night class at my church. A lady named Lori came to hear another friend (Erica) share her testimony at church. It was that one service that grabbed Lori's heart and she became a faithful person in attending and serving at my church. Lori moved out of state and now is in search of a new church. I often think of what if she had never attended my church. I developed a great friendship and we can count on each other. God knows how to put people into our lives forever.
I hope this has encouraged you today and you find yourself in a great church too. Maybe you are in the best one and I'm happy for you. Share hope in a new day and let your light shine everywhere you go. After all, some day we won't be here anymore and our legacy will live on. Let it be one of kindness and sharing Jesus to others. Treat others with respect and how you would like to be treated. Life is short and our purpose remains the same, living for God. Purpose this a good day.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
