"Napa Valley"?
You might immediately think of wine, grapes, vineyards, sunshine, wine tasting and so much more. I think of the Napa Valley as a beauty place to take a drive at. Looking from left to right and seeing those vineyards everywhere. A place of beauty. There are many great stores, restaurants and churches in Napa.
Thinking about Napa brings thoughts of my church. I attend Hillside Christian Center and have for 14 years. I have developed friendships and I'm excited about what God is doing in lives. I have co-teach a women's class for 10 years now on Wednesday nights for Women. It is called, "The Well". A place where women can come and worship together, a message of hope, share time and refreshment. We have see how God is answering prayers. Prayers is the key to open doors and doors that need to be closed. Prayer changes you, which changes your outlook too. Learning to hold tight to the word of God and promises throughout it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New International Version
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Just like wine is made from grapes and the process of change, so is God to our lives. It takes time to restore our souls and God molds us by his word. People spend lots of money on entertainment and just the joy of being with someone else. We like to share time with others and connect. That private moment of sharing stories and rides in a car. Even getting a cup of coffee or tea with a friend is valuable. Time is one of the best gifts you can give someone.
Napa is also a place of sunshine most of the time. You can see hot air balloons high in the sky and people coming in limo's. Big events take place and people come from all over the world to Napa Valley. It is also not far from San Francisco which allows people more sight seeing things. Our lives are connected by cities, counties, coffee shops, churches and so much more. I have many friends who attend a different church than I do, but we feel that same spirit that God gives. The Bible says there is a time for everything and that's what we need to remember. We can share the beauty of life and sorrow of life with each other.
Ecclesiastes 3 New Living Translation
A Time for Everything
3 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
As we enter this new day, let us count blessings! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
