Psalm 34 New International Version (NIV)
1 I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
2 I will glory in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
3 Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
11 Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,
13 keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from telling lies.
14 Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry;
16 but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to blot out their name from the earth.
17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all;
20 he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.
21 Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
WE LOOK AT LIFE DIFFERENT ~
I hope you see all the great things God has already done for you. Sometimes I only hear the negative from people while I know God has done good. After all, he created you for purpose and he gives us things we deserve and even things we don't deserve. We should be different and God made each of us unique. Each of lives reach someone else and we might never know what our words mean to someone else. Purpose good words, positive action and keep the faith in all seasons of life.
In 1985, my husband (Terry) feel at a construction site. It wasn't his fault as a big crane knocked over the still rebar he was inside of. He has a co-worker with him and they both feel over 40 feet. It was a miracle that they both lived and yet when some broken bone, cuts, hurts bodies and life changing health. Our kids were 5 and 2 years old at the time. The process of healing began and it took over a year to really start feeling better. The positive was he did recover but later in life, he experienced a full knee replacement. He deals with another new normal but happy he can walk.
Have you ever been through al life changing experience? The one that brings you closer to God and reaching out like never before? I have been thorough many and I find my stories helps others. That's why in my blog, I personalize some days in the healing process, we need to be patient. God does miracles, but he also does healing. I am currently doing a Book study on the life of Job by Lisa Harper. I highly recommend you do this study or find her on youtube. She points out what Job went through and some personal stories of her own. She includes others who have been through some hard stuff too. Each of us have gone through things we talk about and not talk bout. Sharing what God has done through hard stuff, brings good stuff.
I am glad we are different and I can learn from others too. I know God has brought you to this blog and I want you to know that my prayers with you, your families and friends. I know that prayer works, faith gets stronger and sometimes we just need someone else to hold on for us. I pray daily over this blog to spur you on and know that God is able to meet you exactly as where you are today. Purpose this a good day and count blessings.
