Ephesians 5:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Have you ever heard that what doesn't kill you, makes your stronger? I find this statement to be so true. Things happen in each of our lives and change happens. I would like to call them, "WAVES OF CHANGE". Just like watching the big ocean and the waves come in, then go out. Each wave is different and some are more powerful than others. Our lives represents change and we might not understand the power behind one wave of change.
Hebrews 6:19 New International Version (NIV)
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.
TIME TO GROW ~
Ephesians 4:14 New International Version (NIV)
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
WAVES OF CHANGE ~
Life is like waves. It is unknown what will happen in one day. It doesn't mean it's the end, it means things are different. Different than what we expected and now we are facing some things we never thought we would face. It is good that we are stronger than we thought.
Psalm 51:10-12 New International Version (NIV)10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
I had some crazy things happen in my life and I've see the power of God. Let me remind you that it is God who moves the waves. God, renew a steadfast spirit within me...When the waves comes that try to knock me down, God will be there. When my thoughts tend to travel far out to sea, God will be there. When I feel that I'm not strong enough, God will be there. Restore to me the joy I so need. Each wave wasn't meant to destroy you, but to learn and grow from it.
Be determined to rise above the wave and surf it. Let it carry you through this day with grace and mercy. There is so much to be thankful for, that we need to forget somethings that tried to destroy our hearts. The holy spirit is real and God wants the best for you.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
