Psalm 46:10 New International Version
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
There will be times in life when things seem to fall upon us suddenly. Change beyond words and tears beyond measure. Yet, I am reminded that the water will fall from the sky and it has a purpose. Our land needs water and our lives need water. A sudden remind that God takes care of us through a site of a waterfall or looking high in the sky.
This morning I have my door open and I have a small water fountain in my yard. I turn sit on and suddenly got this message to send to you. God see's the cry of your heart and he knows your need. He also knows the joys that enter your life daily. He is a friend who sticks close and never changes. It is us that take turns of life and change for the better or the bitter as things happen. Our choices makes a difference and our attitude goes along with that.
Yesterday, I went to see the movie "War Room"
What a powerful movie that moves hearts to pray when it seems as if prayer isn't a key to use. I saw there watching it as if I were listening to a story about my friends. I watch their lives unfold and I saw the reason of an older lady teaching a young lady about prayer. If you haven't seen it, purpose to go today. It is still playing in cities and just google it. Many things happen when we make wrong choices. Those choices affect others and prayer can change things, but it must start within you too. Prayer changes you, which changes others. Many great actors and actresses played in this movie. I have heard Pricilla Shirer and Beth Moore teach. Amazing women of God and they both were in this movie. I am unsure of the others names, but each one did an amazing job.
I've made many mistakes in life and God has forgiven me. How could I not forgive someone else, when I was wrong too. I cried out to God for a new beginning and a much needed start over. He answers the cry of our hearts and I love how he uses my life to write you. I'm not perfect or not it all, but I sure have been through somethings that changed my life. Even choices of someone else has changed my life. I don't always like a new normal but sometimes we must face new normals.
I cried out ~ Psalm 18:6 NIV
In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.
Psalm 34:17 NIV
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
The rain will come, water will fall and things will change. In the darkest hour, there is hope. In the brightest hour, there is hope. Hope is always available and our choices matter. The Bible says:
Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
It is time for you to take a few minutes to look into your heart. See that your are important and your choices are important. Maybe you are the only Jesus someone will see today. Their day is too much and you have the answer. Don't hide the answer of how God has helped you in hard days and there is a new day ahead. I've been broken, hurt, disappointment and talked about in this life. I've seen the rain of hard days and the rain of good days. I've made wrong choices and right choices. I value my today, the ability to see, hear, water, speak and so much more. I love that I can type and share a few words today with you. I hope you spread this blog to others and let God show you how important you are today.
Yes, the water will fall and it can be beautiful. Look at this picture above and see the beauty of water. Thankful for a new day and I hear the water of hope. My faith will arise as I lean toward God and his plan. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
