A person of strength, courage, warrior and others look up to them.
Proverbs 13:22 New King James Version (NKJV)
22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
WATCH YOUR STEP ~
God has given each of us a platform to lead by in life. Our example goes further than we might realize. I still remember adults in my life that made an impact on me as a kid. I just wanted to grow up and be like my favorite Aunt Pearl. She appeared to be happy and made the greatest food. She had a sense of adventure about her and wasn't afraid of things. I saw her as a hero in many ways. She would one day go to Heaven and I continue to miss her greatly. Her legacy of life was left behind to me was about time.
The Bible speaks about a good man/woman leaves an inheritance to his children's children. I continue to talk about my favorite aunt, my dad, my mom, my brother and family who lives in heaven to my kids and grandkids. So much happens in one's life time and it great to share stories of encouragement. Life isn't always about a dollar but about what we do with our time. Thinking upon the right things and leaving the negative alone.
1 Peter 5:7 King James Version (KJV)
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
I don't know what you are facing today, but trusting God is huge. The Bible speaks of casting your care upon God. It's like fishing in the since of throwing that line into the water and waiting. We must allow God the freedom in change and freedom in his decisions. I've seen many prayers that get answered immediately and also prayers I still wait on to be answered. Let us remember that our timing is not God's timing always.
FOLLOW THE LEADER ~
In this game, not everyone can lead. There is one person and the rest follows. In the book of life, we have examples before us and we become leaders even as a child. Our example matters and our words certainly matter. Speak words of life over yourself today and your family/friends.
Luke 6:31 (NASB)
"Treat others the same way you want them to treat you."
One day, you will look back on life and see things you could have done different. Yet, your choice was your choice and it's time to let go of things you can not change. Living in regret or anger never profits you in this life. Living in freedom of your mind is important. Days of sadness only bring you down and it's time to look up again. I look back to see that goodness and mercy has followed my life. I am a strong confident woman of God but it has take me time to press forward. Somethings in life just isn't fair and we need to be careful in what we submit too.
Each new day brings new thoughts and new beginnings. I might not always understand the play of God but I realize now how importance one decisions is in life. Purpose this day a good one and friends please think before you make a decision. Each of us have sinned and fallen down, but God picks us up again.
WATCH YOUR STEP ~
You are a leader and don't forget that someone is watching your life.
I remember going to a church early and seeing women at the prayer altar. I wasn't sure why they did that and one day I ask one of them. She began to share stories of life and the importance of prayer. Each week I would go and I would watch older women crying out to God for others. It's like they stepped into a place I never knew about and it made me want to be like them. Praying and caring for others from deep down inside. I didn't feel freedom to do that in younger years, but I certainly do now. It took time for me to grow spiritually and I had this desire to know God more.
Time moves forward and we learn to make better decisions in life. Coming to God with not only questions, but a praise within our hearts. I give thanks today for all the crazy stuff I went through because it was going through that made the difference. I'm glad I didn't stop and allow the words of others to stop me. I allow the word of God to change me and it continues to change me daily. I hope you will join me today in forgiving yourself over things, stepping into a new day of hope with joy and treating others the way you would like to be treated.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
