Ecclesiastes 3 New International Version (NIV)
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
WAITING ON GOD ~
It isn't always easy to wait.
Yesterday, I held my granddaughter and his was her mom's (my daughter) birthday. I saw how the generations of my mom wanting a daughter and that became me. Then I wanted a daughter and that become my daughter. Then she wanted a daughter and now has her baby girl. Each of us had waited and wanted a daughter, but God's timing was perfect. God has a plan for each of our lives and we were meant to be in the generations we were born in. As I held her yesterday, I counted blessings and cried because I know that life is a miracle.
God has purposed your life too. A plan only you can carry out, but it's up to you to follow his plan. Not everyone enjoys the freedom of living in God's peace of life and they might watch your life as an example. Our yes to God is bigger than we might see and his plan continues to unfold daily. The important thing is to know that God is able to handle whatever you face and give you wisdom in needed times. Not everything is a yes in life and we will face times of saying no. Take care of you in health and spiritual. In your waiting on God, purpose time to read the Bible and music that helps your soul. It all works together to bring peace in the waiting.
WAITING ROOM ~
I have waited on God for many things over my lifetime. It brings joy to my soul that I can say God knows best. Somethings were no's for me and somethings on yes's in life. I remember sitting in a waiting room at the dentist office. He was running a little late, but as I heard the drill in the other room, I became nervous. I knew it wasn't what I was facing, but just waiting brought some stress. I think of my spiritual life like this. Sometimes I sit in the waiting room of God and just wait. I can be a little stress wondering the outcome of somethings and yet I know God has this. Waiting is part of our lives and the outcome is still handled by God.
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
