Proverbs 17:22 English Standard Version (ESV)
22 A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
I do realize it is hard at times to keep positive thoughts when something hard hits your life. I know that not everyone thinks alike and we do have those moments of a deep breathe. It is easy to quote a scripture or tell someone else what to do, but when it comes to us, we might find it harder. It is God's plan for us to keep our minds stayed on positive and not negative. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy lives.
It's important to take the time to talk to God. Let God take away any stress or things you can not deal with. I purpose time to pray and talk to God. It is time to give thanks for all we do have in this life. Each day is a new beginning and making the most of each day is important.
Philippians 4:6 English Standard Version (ESV)
6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
GOD KNOWS YOU ~
He doesn't want you anxious or worried. He speaking of casting all our cares upon him. It's time to cast my friend, time to cast those crazy thoughts away. For example, if I wake up tired and decided not to go somewhere, I often have thoughts of how I missed out. If I wake up tired and get ready to go out, I find my heart thankful I pushed through being tired. Tired is a way the enemy of your soul stops you from blessings. Yes, we need rest and yes we need to take care of ourselves. I am speaking more about the mindset right now and just tired of certain things. It is easier at times to sit in a chair and think over all the negative. I often wonder how many people reading this can relate to this.
It's a new day and deep breathe before we begin it. Looking outside to see the weather conditions, things that are planned and how to dress for this day. I would suggest the first thing you do is read these few scriptures and do this daily:
Ephesians 6:10-18New International Version (NIV)The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God,so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powersof this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Getting ready for a new day requires us getting dressed and action. Take the action to put on the mind of Christ and guard yourself. Also guard your heart because words come flying at us at times and catches unguarded. Be careful of the words that come out of your own mouth and do your best to be a great example to others. Don't forget, you are important and hand created by God.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope you will pass it onto your family and friends. Happy NEW Day ~
