LIFE ~ Is full of change and situations in our control and out of own control. God is greater than anything we face and yet we face some hard things. The Bible speaks of the man who remains steadfast under trial. We must trust that God has our now is his control.
James 1:12 English Standard Version (ESV)
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
Have you ever been in a situation where you said, "it's not fair"? I certainly have and I have said that to God too. I trust him, but there are things I just don't understand in life. He is full of power and able to change a situation, but for some reason, he doesn't. For example, the fires that are so big in CA right now and so many people are still loosing everything they have. My daughter and son in law lost their house and their personal things last year. I remember people asking what do they need. I would say this, "I need a tooth brush, under wear and a change of clothes. I need everything you use in everyday life." We just don't get it, unless we go through it or walk with someone closely through it. Yes, that is an unfair situation for sure. BUT hold on, God is still able to have others help you through your hardest season ever. If you know anyone, please give them money to be able to buy things they need today. God says he will rescue us. Sometimes we must find the good in the bad.
Psalm 91:14-16 The Message (MSG)14-16
“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God,
“I’ll get you out of any trouble.
I’ll give you the best of care
if you’ll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I’ll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!”
I do my best not to compare my life with anyone else. I do my best to see the good in the bad. I do my best daily to live a life pleasing unto God. I often forget to guard my heart and my mind. I must remember that not everybody is like me and I get my feelings hurt at times. Life does seem a little unfair at times, but we are each different how we take things. I find that God is faithful and wants the best for me. I just might not see it while going through the storms of life. I can look back and see how his grace carried me in many occasions. I find strength in knowing God is able to handle each day of living for me.
LIFE IS SHORT ~
If we spend life in worry or doubt, then we can't live in freedom of who God made us to be. We can mixed worried and freedom in the same sentence. Living in freedom is accepting the life God has given, but pray for a even better. Purpose good thoughts, set your mind on positive thinking and see how much better this days goes for you. It seems easier to think the negative but for me, it's easier to thinking the positive. Roman 12:1-2 renew your mind.
I hope today you see the blessings in your life and able to battle thoughts through putting on the full armor of God. It's not just words in the Bible, but prepares you for battle. God knew thoughts would come and we must cast some thoughts far away. I have times that something from my past pops into my mind and I must push it out as far as it came in. It becomes time to recognize the enemy of your soul and don't allow him any room to enter your thoughts. I find that worship music so helps me and a song in my heart. Whatever helps you find peace, do it. Life is a process of change and in those changes, let us change for the better plus not become bitter in life. I have found that bad and good happens to each of us in different ways. Don't forget your are an overcomer!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
