Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
It is a process of time in trusting someone.
Have you ever trusted a person and that trust was broke? How about trusting God and you have been disappointed? These are things to think about but we must remember that sometimes people just make mistakes. It depends on what that person said or did to break your trust. Can trust be rebuilt? I certainly think it can in many cases of life. People are human and we don't want to loose a true God gifted friendship. God is God and his timing is perfect and we might always understand his plan. It doesn't mean that his plan isn't good, just not the way we thought. I trust God with all my heart! I have learned over time not to lean to my own understanding at times of life. God does make the path ahead straight. He guards us from things in life too.
PRAYER ~ TRUST
Prayer is a way to communicated with God.
Psalm 46:10 New International Version (NIV)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
Romans 8:28 New International Version (NIV)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Scriptures bring hope, peace, trust and learning to hold on in life. Fatih is knowing God is able and we can't see the next step. That allows trust to build inside of us and we just know that God has our life just fine. I heard it said that nothing is impossible with God and that is true. It doesn't mean that every prayer will be answered the way you think. It means that God has a plan and we must trust that process. God hears your prayers and continues to know what is best. I remember having a prayer need in life, but was it a need. It was something I wanted in life and God saw best answer my way, but his way was actually much better. I could't see it at the time, but down the road of life, it was best his way. I have learned to trust the process of somethings of life and know that God continues to guide my life. That is letting go of somethings and holding tight to the path God has for your life too.
I do want to say if someone has hurt you and broke your trust. Pray that God will heal your heart and help you to forgive. Forgiveness is what God gave each of us and we must forgive too. It often times a little time to let go of words or actions of others. It doesn't mean you have to put that person back into your daily life, but you can live knowing you let it go. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
