Look through eyes of faith.
We don't know the depth behind the scenes of someone's life. We think we know, but God is the only one who knows it all. Right now, there is a virus that is connected to our world. So many changes and people are scared over what's next. I have been scared myself, but I had to remind myself of God's power. I am a person who has seen miracles and continues to believe in them. Just as fast as a unknown virus starts, it can end. God is still the God who parted the red sea, made the blind man to see and stop the ragging waters for the disciples in the boat. God is a promise keeper.
Matthew 7:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
TRUST THE PROCESS ~
I started thinking about a scary time in my life. It was 1985 and we had just bought our first house. My husband feel over 40 feet on a construction site and we had two small kids. It was the beginning of a long year and much healing had to happen in his body. I couldn't see it right away, but as time moved forward, I could feel so hope and peace. It's crazy how a small amount of hope, brings a light to your soul. You sometimes must purpose to trust the process of health or whatever you face.
It is good to read the open and open up stories of miracles. Just to hear that God did miracles in the Bible days and God continues to do miracles today. Let us stop for a minute and give thank to God for keeping us alive and helping us through each day that is scary. I heard on the news that they are close to finding a cure and I heard they aren't. Which report do you believe? I believe the best report because that makes my mind stay in peace.
Philippians 4:7 English Standard Version (ESV)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Purpose to have people in your life that pray and help encourage you. I have thoughts who help me too. Smart decisions need to be made, stay at home as much as possible and wash your hands a lot. Not only wash them, but keep them away from your face. Those are the recommendations of the doctors on TV and I will choose to listen to them. We went out the last couple of days to get food and now I'm going to stay away from stores. I want to protect myself and my household too. Be smart and think ahead a bit, but don't allow fear to grip your heart. Sure people are talking about God doesn't give us the spirit of fear and that's true, but it's not about being afraid right now. It is more about being wise and keeping yourself healthy too.
My prayers continue for those who read my blog, your family and friends. I know this time of life is affecting homes, jobs and finances. God is still able to handle what you need and I believe that. Reach out to others if you need something and maybe they can help. I don't know where you live, but God has someone right there able to help too. Don't isolate yourself and feel alone. God is right here and able to stop this virus fast! Purpose this a good day. It is truly good to remind yourself of great things God has already done for you and your family.
