Jeremiah 17:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.
TREES ~
Roots by the stream
This scripture brings to my mind to be rooted by faith and good things. Life sure changes and we don't always understand the plan of God. We are concern and can grow weary in well doing. The Bible tells us not to grow weary. Be encouraged today and grow in putting your trust in the Lord.
Galatian 6:9 (NIV)
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
HARVEST ~
A time of gathering and reaping benefits
We must purpose peaceful times of life. So much is happening in our world and we are still shelter in place. I took this pictures a few years ago and wanted to post one of a peaceful time. My granddaughters love to fish with their PA. Whether it is on a deck, the shore or a boat. The joy of their faces when they catch a fish. PA just loves to fish and doesn't matter if he catches a fish or not. I don't understand the joy of that, but he doesn't understand my joy of just sitting by a pool. We are different and yet enjoy somethings the same.
PA (Terry) and I, have been married for almost 43 in August. We can certainly see how planting our faith has grown us into stronger believers of God. There were times that just didn't look good, but God turned things around for us. In some cases, true miracles of life.
We have planted our lives deep in God and choose to battle thoughts of discouragement. Especially during these days of the Corona Virus and trying so hard to stay well. We can see how our family continues to be blessed during these times. We have lived by faith and taught our kids the word of God. They make their own choices and God has blessed their families. I know that miracles happen and I hold tight to prayer daily.
What are you holding tight to today? The power of God is real and sometimes the miracle is in the process of time. Not everything happens immediately but through time. I saw how God spared a life but was't immediately healed. It took time, patience and prayer. Each day became a miracle that we saw a day closer to being well. God works in different ways and we can trust him in all things. Today, I value my own life from my heart attack. It's been almost a year since that day and I feel so grateful for my life. I give thanks daily for my life and pray daily for those waiting on their miracle of life.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day and share hope with someone today. Be an encourager and text someone today. Show you care and love them. You just never know what might happen in one day and I have seen this over and over again. Thank you for taking time to read this and plant hope in your life.
