In the days to come, I want to be able to trust someone. Just knowing that one person cares and reaching back when you reach out. A friend that sticks close to you, like Jesus. But also a real friend on earth that understands my heart.
Proverbers 18:24 NIV One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
The other day, I tried to be real on Facebook and had to delete my post. I reached out from a real moment in life and just wanted to share. I realized quickly that not everybody will understand my words or my heart. I've been through a lot in life and money is a key factor in less stress. When you have that weekly pay check coming in and able to pay your bills, save and plan ahead life is easier. When you have that struggle of making it from pay check to pay check, life is harder. It's just real life and not everybody has that retirement plan that will give them the golden years.
I had a friend private message me this: "you have been faithful to God and he knows your heart and Terry's heart. I can't say it will be easy or that you'll never feel the crunch of money". Just reading those words, let me know that she hears my heart. We don't always want a Bible verse, just someone to hear us. I realized at that moment of the importance of counting blessings in hard times. It's not just money, but health and much more.
TRUST BEYOND MEASURE ~
I write about the goodness of God, I must trust in all seasons of life ~ Sparkie
Through it all, I've learned to trust in God. It is also about good choices, planning and thinking ahead. It's not to late to plan better and live within a budget. Still planning ahead and saving something each week. Even if that week is one dollar! Find a jar, put some change in it and watch how quickly it adds up. There are those unexpected needs in life and sometimes I go to my change to get a few dollars.
Philippians 4:29And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
It all begins in you!
Your choices matter and you can purpose your retirement years into play now. God does meet our needs, but he also wants us wise in planning ahead. My prayers are with you, your family and friends for wisdom, courage to change what you can and let go of what is done. God is a promise keeper and his word is alive today. Read, plant hope and peace within a new day. Resting in the will of God but making wise choices. Happy new day!
