Life is so busy and we forget to take care of ourselves. Not only physically, but spiritually plus emotionally. We can look back on yesterdays to either have regrets or many great memories. We must embrace our now of life with a positive attitude. Times changes you and I have witness this in my life. Life is a process of change and we can grow from it.
Romans 10:10-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” 12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Forgiveness happens ~
Forgiving yourself is a must in life. Verse 13 above" For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved". I remember talking with my Aunt Pearl and she asked if she could ask Jesus into her heart. I was in my 20's and I said, "of course you can". She continued to ask me questions and she was about 77 years old at his point. It was a day I will always remember because I saw her eyes light up.
MY EYES LIGHT UP ~
What makes your eyes light up? Is it thinking about what Jesus has already done for you, the promise of what he is going to do or maybe just knowing you can ask him into your heart today? A peace beyond human understanding can enter your mind and heart. Just resting in knowing God has life and death in his hands. We might not understanding everything, we do know somethings. Wisdom comes with reading God's word, surrendering our will to his will and living life in balance of all things. Taking care of you once again comes into play here. Life is short and each day so valuable.
My eyes also light up when I see a person I love. It is the joy of knowing that person and they are such a great part of my life. I can compare this to Jesus. I know he is in my life and I know that all things come together for good. Through it all, I've learned to trust God with all my heart. I've learned not to lean to my own understanding but his understanding. Letting go of what I can't change and changing what I can.
Ephesians 3:17-19 New International Version (NIV)so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
TOO MUCH TO GAIN ~
There is too much to gain in life not to live for Jesus.
Jesus is a peacemaker and wants you to be a peacemaker. A living example of his character in all ares of life. It's not hard or complicated at all. Just living kindness works and sharing his love to others. I remember the day a young man came up to me at the prayer alter. His names is Adam and he asked Jesus into his heart. I still pray for him, but I don't see him. I ask God to bless him and help him. One life does makes a difference.

God, forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart.

Be present in a life and not invisible. We need each other and God connects lives for a greater purpose. Purpose this a good day.
