Walt Disney may have never imagined how big Disneyland could get. He started it all when a thought, a drawing of a mouse and a desire to do something. Over the years, we find that many people follow his dream and just the thought of Disneyland excites people. Even after his death, Disneyland carries on and continues to grow. His life has changed many lives and inspires many people. Plus giving joy to families and spending time together.
TIME IS PRICELESS ~
Family comes together over dinners, occasions, special events and vacations. Bring lives together to share priceless moments. Each person is different and brings a different outlook at things. Yet one common goal is wanting to be together. Not everyone experiences the same thing, but we are designed to be together. We are designed by God to carry out a plan for our own lives. Each one is important and has a larger purpose than we might imagine. Just like Walt Disney. He acted upon a thought and created a mouse that would change the world "MICKEY MOUSE".
Just like JESUS who walked upon this earth. His purpose to go about teaching and leading others to his father. A plan bigger than the moment of life and desires are set into motion. Who would have ever know that Jesus would walk on water someday. God would speak and Jesus would act.
Matthew 14:22-33 New International Version
Jesus Walks on the Water
22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
ONE CALL ~ ONE ANSWER = JESUS
Today, let us turn out thoughts to his plan, his promises and future. Jeremiah 29:11 teaches us to walk by God in all things. His plan unfolds and our lives change forever. In that forever, we find a love that is real and is wanted. God is our source of strength, courage and wisdom in all areas. Dream big and ask God largely for new things in life. Never stop dreaming or believing my friend.
Yesterday, I went to a concert of Kelly Clarkson with special guest Pentatonix. Also Abi Ann Hoffman and Eric Hutchinson. I had never heard of some of the people, but it was amazing. I remember seeing Kelly Clarkson on American Idol years ago. As I watched her last night, I suddenly realized how many lives her life has touched. The place was full of people and on the stage people who had job opportunities to see their dream come true too. With one yes of life, so many others are affected in a positive way. I just sat there amazed and enjoyed the performance of each one.
You might not be a Kelly Clarkson, but you are someone who has a dream as well. God can open the door for you and show you how life can change by one yes. One yes to God and here we go into change. It's going to be a great day because we purpose it that way. Over coming things that are hard, grabbing onto things that are good is a must in life. Just me writing this blog to you, makes me feel happy inside and I know that God has greater things ahead.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
