John 15:15 (NIV)
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called your friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
TIME GOES ON ~
Sharing time with Jesus was what the disciples did. They did not want him to go away, but it was a plan from God. God had a bigger plan and his going away would bring life to others. As time goes on, we have a decision to make to follow God's word or not. I choose to believe in John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I find that life is a gift from God. Each day we have choices and freedom. I don't always count a blessing in freedom and I should. I see the freedom of choices and the power behind one choice. We can make someone's life better or choose the wrong way. I did something yesterday and I had I wished I just made a different choice. I saw that it frustration to someone and that wasn't my intent at all. The outcome was okay, but I'm saying that I need to think before I speak. Have you ever had that moment in life before? Wow, thinking is so important before speaking.
As you move into your day or evening, purpose this a good day. Count those blessings, guard your heart and surround your mind with God's word. His love is amazing and knowing that someone loves you can bring a smile to your face. Life is short and you never want to live in regret of yesterdays. I saw so much as a young person and saw the sorrow of my mom. She lived 40 years in sorrows and never quite moved out of that in her life time. I tried so hard to make her happy and often happiness was not her choice on most days. I see that she did her best, but never letting Jesus take full control of her broken heart or her own mistakes of life. At the end of her life, she spoke words to me that were amazing and I saw her in a new way. It was as if she let go of all the anger and resting in God. I love her and miss her greatly. She had a such a big heart, but it just was broken.
We can do our best in helping someone, but realize their choices is their choices. Keep praying for them daily. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
