If you have read any of my post before today, you will know that one of my favorite things is to open my front door in the morning and listen to birds sing. I love that sound and morning air coming in the open door.
IMAGINATIONS ~ REALITY
Through the picture, it took me to a happy place even the midst of sorrow at the hospital. My mother in law/love (Helen) was rushed to ICU and her heart was having big issues. Laying there with kidney disease, heart issues and such a tiny body. I began to think of the bird that was sitting in this picture and I began to pray for her. Even though she is 84 years old, we never want to see a loved suffer. Dementia is coming fast and somedays she knows us but somedays she does not. It's harder on my husband because it's his mom and he reflects back on so many things.
Don't get me wrong, it's hard one me too, but he has not seen his mom ever like this. I saw my mom like this and it brings flashbacks to me, but I know it's super hard for him. My mom now rest in Heaven and we are entering our 11th day with Helen. Through it all, we have learned to trust in God, lean on family/friends and count blessings. Please pray and we value your prayers.
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Living in the moment of time is important. I've learned to open the door of my heart, listen to the birds sing and wait on God. He is the creator of life and death. He knows what is best and gives the doctors wisdom and staff to help us when we can't help ourselves. Our mental state of mind is important and pushing toward hope and peace daily is a choice. I choose to trust God through it all.
HOW ABOUT YOU?
I'm not sure what you face today, but face it with God. Face it knowing and resting in the peace that only God can give. Make right choices and lean not to your own understanding on somethings.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Putting your imagination and reality together happens. I thank God for the peace I felt in that waiting room. Just as I do today in the waiting room of life. Somethings will never make sense to your brain, but through it all, God give us free will and choices. In those choices, they guide our lives and what we think upon matters. I choose to call up God and wait. I never want to settle in life for anything but God's best. I know that his plan unfolds as I say yes, I choose to say yes and submit my ways to God.
FAITH COMES BY HEARING ~ Romans 10:17 NIV
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
As we enter this new day, my prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
