Trusting God with all my heart!
Psalm 118:24-29 New International Version (NIV)
24 The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad.
25 Lord, save us!
Lord, grant us success!
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord we bless you.
27 The Lord is God,
and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
up to the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise you;
you are my God, and I will exalt you.
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
THIS IS WHAT I KNOW ~
The Lord is good and his love endures forever
Through it all, I've leaned to trust in God. I was speaking last week at our women's service and I brought out the importance of prayer and seeking God. I remember seeing older women who tarried at the altar at church. True prayer warriors and I never quite got it. I was only in my 30's and had so much to learn. As I saw them reach their hands to God, I wanted to have faith like them. A few women who were solid in God, walked by faith and determined to pray. It's as if I could open the Bible and find their names there for women who never gave up. Little did I know their stories of life or what they had been through. Yet, there dedication to God was faithfulness and could see seen!
I had someone message me about my faith. I saw how they looked up to me and wished they had my faith. I've been through so much and I don't know it all, but I do know that God never leaves me. There are times when it seems impossible, but I know that all things are possible with God. Just a little faith and pressing forward is so important. I have a prayer request today for a miracle and I'm trusting God that miracle will take place! I just can't give up believing and knowing that God will answer. Please join me today in praying for my miracle prayer request.
I don't know what you are facing today, but I know that God hears the cry of our heart. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends! This a good day that God has given us. Look around and count some blessings. I appreciate you who read this and share it with someone today. We never know what one life faces in one day, but God does. Just a little encouragement helps in ways we might never know about in life.
