2 Chronicles 7:14 New International Version (NIV)
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Far before there was a President's Day, there were Kings and rulers on earth. The Bible says:
Psalm 2:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
We need to be careful the way we treat others on earth. Our example to others lives far long than we do. Our life becomes an example too and the things we say about our President will plant inside heads of others. I remember at voting time and watching some kids at school vote on color. There were two choices and the room was divided. Some wanted one color and the other half wanted the other color. Teaching we have freedom to choose and our choices matters on who wins. It also teaches kids to have their own opinion and let the other person have theirs.
GOD IS IN CONTROL ~
As I prayed to vote for the President, there was good about each of the candidates and there was bad too. Walking this earth is filled with different opinions and choices. Asking God to lead you is important over anything in life. God I need you and I don't know the answer to everything, but I know that you are the answer. Feeling peace about a vote and pressing forward in that choice. Rulers of our earth and yet God the overseer of all.
FEDERAL HOLIDAY ~
Giving honor to Presidents and much prayer.
PRESIDENTS ~ When I googled how many Presidents of the US
Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States of America. However, only 44 men have served as president. This is because presidents are numbered by their continuous terms in office. Grover Cleveland, who won two non-consecutive terms in 1884 and 1892, is therefore the 22nd and 24th president.
Each of these men have left a legacy and it was not all good. Just like men and women from the Bible carry their own stories. We all make mistakes and I hope we can see that. Nobody is perfect and country stays divided over issues things of life. I wish we could all just get along and fine a common peace factor in decisions. The truth is, we are all different and have our own way of doing things. Respect is needed in our country and I continue to pray for peace.
Life is short and I hope you realize how important one day is in life. Suddenly things happen and our lives change. I hope we will always turn to God before we vote for anything. Doing what is right, is just right. Lead the way God and I will follow is my choice. I hope you have a good day and enjoy this day we call Presidents Day.
