Have you ever watched a TV show and wanted to be like someone?  The thing you do not see is what happens behind the scenes of a TV show or ever their true character.  They are playing a part and word written by someone else. It is not the person at all but we often in ourselves thinking that.  It bring my mind to this, I am designed by God to carry out the screen play he has for my life.  Words written in the Bible guide me and leads me.  We must remember that our own free will can change some things God had planned for us.

THINKING ABOUT THIS ~
God is faithful to us and help us through things

Isaiah 40:31  New International Version (NIV)
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

THINKING ABOUT THIS ~
The character of Jesus is one to follow.

Matthew 16:24-26  New International Version (NIV)

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

I think the questions can make us think about life.  Our purpose is to be like Jesus and his character shows us to think of others and do the right thing in life.  I am always willing to learn from my own mistakes and listen to God.  His word is full of directions and key verses to hold onto in life.  I remind myself at times of how far God has brought my life and the the example I am to others.  I might not always understand the plan of God, but I do understand that his love is never ending.  He has promises for us to hold onto and will bring to pass.

Psalm 37:4  New International Version (NIV)
Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Stop for a minutes and see the good in your life.  Christmas time brings so many thoughts and busyness of life.  I see people rushing about and grumpy attitudes.  I see others driving way to fast a hurry to go
somewhere.  I wonder how many people stop and take time to talk to God.  Are we so busy that we forget the purpose of our day?  Just thinking out loud and sharing with you today.  Let us stop and give thanks for where God has brought our lives from.  I hope we don't miss out on  life because of being stuck in wrong thinking.  Live with freedom of mind and press forward each day.

My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
