Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
As my walk with God continues, I look back to see how God was there for me. There was seasons of life that I pulled away from going to church and getting involved in anythings. Words of others hurt, actions of others hurt and I decided I was better off without people. Yet, God is all his goodness, started drawing me back to him little by little. I felt a want to go and when I did, I felt his holy spirit open my heart up again. I dismissed words of others and took on the words of God. The Bible tells me not to do what the Bible says to do.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Have you ever heard that action speaks louder than words? I have heard this all my life and thought I understood it. Recently my life has changed and I see how words are not enough in lives. We need family and friends. We need community of church, schools, works and the list goes on. We need others in our lives to help spur us on and we can spur others on. We become a doer of his word in all things.
Hebrews 10:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
THINGS HAPPEN ~
I am so happy God answers prayers. I am so happy that things turn around in a moments time to good. Let us think upon the positive today and all the great things God has already done in our lives. One things is giving us salvation and a new beginning. That's a huge thing and I often say not to take health for granted. It is important to give thanks to God for where we are in life. Look around you and see the positive things today. I sometimes can focus on the one negative, instead of the million positive. Are you like that? Today, I woke up feeling like I have enough, but God isn't a God of just enough but more than enough. Reaching out to greater things and knowing God is able to handle anything that comes our way. Put your trust in God and keep believing in that miracle you are waiting for in life.
My thoughts and prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends.
