THE BIBLE ~
People do not always believe the same. Different religions, different opinions and different interpretations of things. Even the Bible is made of different versions. I prefer to read the New International Bible (NIV) but I do research different versions. The bottom is, there is one God.
Genesis 1:1-5 (NIV)
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
WORD ~ WAS GOD
The beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelations
Matthew 4:4 (NIV) Jesus answered,
“It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
It becomes our choice to open the Bible and read it. To believe or not to believe. I choose to plant the words written inside of it and living best I can daily. God has made promises throughout it and we must wait our turn to see results of it. I have found in life that God's timing is not always my timing on things. Taking action:
2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV)
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
A new day brings change. A new day brings opportunities to grow and develop into a stronger person. A changed person by reading and living the word of God. I take one word and connect it another and find out that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. My thoughts can be a battle at times but I know that God is the one who fights the battles. I find that looking into a mirror of hope, brings results. Saying positive things about myself, my day and living it with hope. Don't let the hard parts of a day, overcome your day.
As a new day begins, so does the sheet of paper in front of you. Schedule in positive things, living in hope and peace of mind as your day begins. Counting some blessings and stirring up faith in what you must face in today.
My thoughts and prayers continue for the readers of my blog and I value your prayers as well.
