Psalm 40:1-5 (NIV)
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
and put their trust in him.
4 Blessed is the one
who trusts in the Lord,
who does not look to the proud,
to those who turn aside to false gods.
5 Many, Lord my God,
are the wonders you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.
THE WONDER OF IT ALL ~
Blessed is the one who trust the Lord
I realize that life can be hard at times. We are human and we are left to wonder the why of somethings. God is able to turn things around, but it doesn't seem fast enough. God I may not understand why you allowed this to happen, but you did. You have the power to turn it around now and set our feet on the rock to stand. Trusting God is a huge thing for me. I can't live this life without knowing God is able to handle my now and guide me down the path that is right. I might not understand the why of things, but I sure trust the Lord.
As this new day begins, let your thoughts go toward the promises of God. He is the only one who can restore a life, change a mind and set your free in all ways. It's okay that we might believe different, but the power of God is still the power of God. He is the one who creates a new sky daily and created each of us. We can learn from each other and keep being a positive person. I am positive I might not understand this now, but God has done too many great things to doubt his power. Some people look at life as negative or that bad things always happen to them. I certainly could look at life like that too, but I won't do that. I choose to see the positive and the blessings in my life.
Psalm 37:25 New International Version (NIV)I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
God has brought my husband and I through many hard things. You can not compare hard things of life. My hard has been loosing my dad when I was 18 years old from a heart attack, my brother died with cancer on christmas day, my and I lost our family home because of lack of money, plus someone stole our car. That's just a few things of life that were hard. I think over the goodness of God. God healed our son from a muscle disease in 1985 and gave him a miracle. God gave our daughter a miracle of health too in life. What am I trying to say? Psalm 37:25 is true, I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging brea. My children has been blessed and I believe it's because of a praying mom and dad. I believe it's because of their own choices to serve the Lord and trust through each situation of life. I pray for my family daily and your family.
GENERATION TO GENERATION ~
The goodness of God is real and beyond a human understanding. God is faithful and his love remains the same. Praying for miracles for my nephew and other family members who need one. Praying for my friends and your friends too. God is real and I know this deep within my soul. There is no time to doubt or see a glass half full. I choose to see good in each day and count those blessings of what I do have in life. Purpose this a good day and know that I'm praying, plus I care about the readers of my blog too.
