Jeremiah 31:3 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
THE VIEW ~ Unfailing love
In times I just wanted to know that someone loved me. As a kid, I had times of feeling unloved and even unwanted by people. My view of being a kid was distracted by things I heard from adults. I never really had friends in younger years or couldn't play outside much. I feel I missed out on a lot of things and when I got older, my view changed. I knew I was loved and wanted, but it was all those no you can't do that and go to your room. I spent way to much time in my room as a kid. It was there that I found a love to teach stuff animals and told them that one day I would teach people how to treat each other. Being kind was my motivate and I knew it began inside of me. I didn't know about the everlasting love of God and unfailing kindness then.
CHANGING YOUR VIEW ~
Have you ever gone to an event and wanted to get there early to get a good seat? The good seat will bring a great view of the event. Sometimes the event cost money and the more you pay, the better the view. Excitement builds as you know your seat is close to the stage or sports event. How about getting a good seat of viewing yourself? Viewing yourself the way God does and working toward speaking good things about yourself. Sometimes in going to church, the empty seats are up front because people like to sit in the back. Yet, at other events we hurry to sit up front.
I want us to focus on this scripture again:
Jeremiah 31:3 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Within the Bible are scriptures of hope and encouragement. Words written by others and God who leads the complete thing. We have choices to believe his word, his plan and his will. We have choices to believe he created us unique and wants the best for each of us. Sometimes life sways us from what we think was the plan of God and a new door opens. In change, be careful not to loose yourself in it. We can think too much the wrong way and totally pull away from what God has for us. Let us remember that God appeared to others in the past and he still appears to us through words. Just knowing God's love is real and everlasting means something to me. Plus, I love the part where he says, "I have drawn you with unfailing kindness".
Being kind is a key factor to my life. I go about life in treating others the way I would like to be treated. I had someone ask me how I do life the way I do. It's simple, I was once younger and filled with anger plus frustrations of how life was for us. Then age happen and I learned more plus the importance of living in one day. Seeing myself the way God does and not the way some people did. Letting go of what I couldn't change and changing the things I could. As a new day appears, I count blessings of being alive and able to do things for others. I count blessings of seeing myself a strong confident woman of God and living in this day. I pray daily for my family, my friends and those who read my blog. I might not know you, but God sure does. God wants the best for you, your family and your friends.
As this new day begins, count some blessings. Pray in believing God is able and know that you make a difference in this world!
