LET US REMEMBER ~ WE NOT ALONE
I wanted to share the story of Moses and the red sea. They came to end of the road or should I say to the Sea. God's power was seen in many ways that day. But it took each person to step into that red sea to get across. An action of faith and trusting the leader. God made a way, where there seemed no way!
Exodus 13:17-22 New International Version
Crossing the Sea
17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle.
19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the Israelites swear an oath. He had said, “God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place.”
20 After leaving Sukkoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. 21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
THE ROAD ENDS ~
BUT THE LORD GOES AHEAD
In each of our lives, we are faced with the road ending. The wonder of what is next and the faith that needs to be stirred up inside of us. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel but God is the one who guides in dark places. He is the one who guides in light places. Sometimes dead ends of life need to happen and other times, it is just the beginning of something greater. We must be careful not to become bitter over things and allow ourselves to become better! I love the people trusted that God open the red sea and they could cross. Wow, what a source of power and only God could do that!
So what's happening in your life that seems to be no way out? There is always a way out with God. I promise that I've been in hard spots and it just seemed impossible. Yet, nothing is impossible with God. He wants the best for each of us and wants us to see his plan unfold for us. Our circumstances are different and yet God remains the same. Keep the faith and don't give up.
Take a look at the picture above and remember there is always a turn around or way out of where you are in life. Don't think it's over, but it's only the beginning of change. Change is not easy and to focus on greater takes a made up mind. Romans 12:1-2 talks about renewing your mind and keeping the focus on God. Look up and see a brighter day ahead.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your families and friends. I care and you are important and your example goes further than you will ever know.
