THE JOURNEY CONTINUES ~
The open door to Women's Ministry had begun. I have met a lot of wonderful ladies teaching. I heard many stories of victories and sorrows. I have learn to listen and not tell anyone what to do but give suggestions that might help them. God has a plan for each of us and I have found mine. Just like Jeremiah in the Bible, God spoke to him and God continues the same message for us.
God spoke to Jeremiah through words in the Bible and he wants to do the same with your life.
Jeremiah 29:11-15 New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
God knows the plan ~
If we could only realize that our decisions are important and can cause a chain reaction to things. Words spoke to someone can spur them on or push them back. God tells us that he has a plan, a promise and a future for each of us. He wants us to listen to him and he will listen to us. Verse 12 ~ Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Saying yes to God opens doors and closes doors. There are many people who are not content in their lives. Sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes that is not good. There is a balance that needs to be met. The Bible speaks of this:
Philippians 4:11-13 New International Version (NIV)
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
THE PLAN ~
Trusting God with all your heart
Learning to him for guidance
Resting in his plan while living in today
Planning ahead and his love continues
Be confident of this one thing ~
Philippians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
I know that God unfolds things that doesn't make sense to me. Down the road of life I've found answers and I've continue to trust God. It's not always easy, but necessary to keep your mind stayed on purpose. I have talked with women who don't know their purpose. They question so many things in life. I can honestly say, I've been there too. It is on the journey that unfolds purpose and our minds begin to trust God beyond a human understanding. It's peace in the wilderness, peace in the good things and peace knowing that God is able to keep us on track. Each of our own decisions makes a difference. Words can spur us on or defeat us. Speak words of life to yourself today and be confident that God who began your life is able to keep you in peace.
