Have you ever heard that the journey of life begins before you were born? God knew Jeremiah before he was born and he knew the plan he had for him. I believe that God knew each of us as well and he knows the plan he has for each of us. Our choices matter in everything we do in life.
Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
THE JOURNEY ~
Began before we were born and continues on today! Our age continues to grow in numbers. So should our knowledge of God's word and his plan for us. Turning our thoughts to positive and lifting up others as our days go by. People will remember you for what you say or do in life. If you are a person of faith, you might finding people calling you when they need prayer. People reach out and that's part of the plan of God. God never wanted us to be alone.
God continued to tell Jeremiah this:
Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
I believe that God continues to tell us daily that he has a plan for each of us. We must continue life with a made up mind to press forward. The journey of life takes us down positive roads and some negative roads. Roads of much happiness and roads of tear. It make me think of this:
Ecclesiastes 3 (NIV)
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
God has this amazing way of restoring lives from the hurts and failures. I haven't met a person yet that hasn't been hurt in some way. But I have heard that the good out weights the bad. I have trusted God through all seasons of life and see a good outcome. It might not always be the way I want, but it is the way God wanted and I can see that now. I wouldn't be who I am today without going through ages that have changed me. Circumstances I could change and things I couldn't change but a trust in God that remains the same.
Daily my prayers are with you (readers of my blog), your family and friends!
