The bridge is built to cross to the other side!
I must not let fear divide me from the promises of God. I must make my faith arise and look at the positive of life. A sudden reminder of how sudden things can change in our lives. God has promises for each of us and release fear to faith!
2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
THE GREAT DIVIDE ~
Things that divide us are: Divorce, Money, Religion, Politics, Race and where we live. We feel less of a person if we live on the other side. The other side being any place that is not compatible to living the best life. There are many other reasons too, but I only named a few. I find that many people do compare their lives to someone else.
The big I want to comes into play. I want to be like you and have all the great things you do. I want to be like you because you are smart, wealthy and have it all. The one thing people don't realize is this, you never know what someone has gone through in their life, to be where they are in life. Many people travel roads of life of hardships, tears and troubles. God has brought them from the broken place, into a better place. A simple yes to God, takes us further than we might know.
Don't hold back on doing what is right. I was young and now I'm older. I'm older to teach and lead from the middle of my heart. I can't do things over in my thirties or watch my kids grow up again. Those moments are gone and I miss out on many things. While I did have special moments to remember forever. If I could only show you the clock of your life. The clock that keeps ticking and one day, you will look back and see special moments are far worth more than a dollar. The release of your emotions and seeing what God has truly given you.
I remember praying and asking God for our Mobile Home over 20 years ago. In those years, there is a swimming pool, basketball court, playground and my kids could play safety outside. As they grew older, living in a mobile home turned into being called a trailer by kids at school. It started my thoughts of being less than, rather than more than in life. I wanted the best for my children in life and it was a good place to grow up. People will talk about you no matter where you live. You can't allow words of others to affect your in a negative way. I ask God for this place and its been a blessing.
Moving forward, I have granddaughter who love to play here. Brookley (7years old) said me, "Grammie, don't move because I like to play here". It melted my heart, because she saw it as fun. I've made right decisions in life and yes many wrong ones. I'm human and have desires of my heart as well. God has given me far more than I realize at times.
Please don't compare your life to anyone else. You were created to be you and face your today with courage, wisdom and no fear. Do not let things divide you from the love of God or doing what is right. God speaks through little things in life and circumstances of life. Don't start conversations that bring the great divide. Use wisdom and choose your words wisely. God starts new beginnings and guides us onto his path he chooses in life.
My prayers continue of reach of you, your family and friends.
