Galatians 6:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
THE CALL ~
Let's pretend a phone rings and on the other end is God. A conversation begins and he says to you, "thank you for answering my call on your life". What has God called you to do? I would share this with women at a bible study and I got back an answer like this, "I don't know what God wants me to do". Maybe you don't know what God has called you to, but the first step is saying yes to him. The next step is praying, seeking him, praising him and reading the word of God. The Bible opens our minds to see his faithfulness and the journey of others. Some of which is positive and some is so negative. People who chose not to serve the Lord and evil came their way.
STAYING STRONG ~
I believe that staying strong in God is a daily choice. If we are not careful we can grow weary in well doing throughout time. God wants us to stay faithful and we will reap the goodness of life. We also learn how to get through the harder times of life. I have found that my surrendered lifestyle is a daily choice. Somedays do get hard and I get my feelings hurt. Then I ask myself this, "Did you put on the full armor of God today". That answer would be no when my feelings override what is real. The devil's job is to distract you and get you to stop living a Jesus lifestyle. Words of others can hurt and we can cry over it. Emotions are real and it takes a made up mind to serve the Lord.
Psalm 119:112 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
I have made up my mind to obey your laws forever, no matter what.
God I love you and I have made up my mind to serve you. Yes, no matter what comes my way and I will hold onto hope in a new day. I read about the promises of God and I believe them. I believe the end of my life will be far greater than the beginning. Just like Job and all he went through in life, we go through things to grow us. We can become a better person and live according to God's word. It's not always easy because people test our patiences at times, but God is all his faithfulness, has something great of you. Never doubt or let your mind wonder to far from the truth. Things change and God helps us every step of the way. The bible says:
John 8:31-32 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Truth Will Set You Free
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
THE CALL ~
The call of God is upon each of our lives. As for me, I decided to serve him all the days of my life. I hope to leave a legacy of faith and of miracles I have seen. I choose to tell the story of the power of Jesus and what his blood means to me. I know he is able to keep me and to prosper me as my soul prospers. I may not have a million dollars today, but I have a millions reasons to thank God for this life he has given me. He has created me to write you, to pray, to seek him and much more. To give him thanks for all seasons and cry when I don't have the words. I love the Lord with all my heart and teach my grandchildren to love him back. Leaving a legacy one day of worship and the power behind the name of Jesus. Once I was called and chosen by God to write and here I am writing you to be encouraged.
Answer the call, Jesus is waiting!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
