JESUS LOVES ME ~
2 Peter 3:9 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
THE BIG CHANGE ~
It all began when I heard that Jesus loves me. This sentence changed my life and started a wonder inside of me. Just a kid and so many questions bout life at that point. I would grow older and learn I had to read the Bible, hear messages and understand the depth of Jesus loves me. It was a process of change and continues change every day of life. It is my choice what I think upon and renewing my mind is a must at times. There is so much change in our lives daily, we might forget that Jesus loves us and remains the same over generations to generations.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ~ Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)
THE BIG CHANGE ~
It comes into play when you realize how much Jesus love you and how you love him back. Things happen in each of lives that mold us. It can either mold us into better people or bitter. Change isn't always easy or even wanted in life. We are hit with sudden things in life. Our attitude makes a huge difference on the outcome of somethings. Our example goes much further than you might realize.
Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
I choose to love God with all my heart and mind. When the enemy of my soul tries to sway me, I simply remind him of his future. Our determination is a key factor in life. We have an option to believe in God or not. There are so many different religions and beliefs. I choose to believe the word of God (Bible) and do my best to live it daily. I am human and make mistakes. That is where God's grace carries us to forgiveness by God.
When I think of the big change, I think of how God comes to our rescue in life. Things may not turn out the way you think and there are consequences to sin. Renewing your mind is a such an important thing. I was meeting with someone and they spoke words like this, "I continue to make the same mistake over and over". It set my mind to wonder and as we continued our conversation, I realize it wasn't what she was doing at all. It was something someone else was doing. I began to talk to her and help her see things through the eyes of God. I don't know all the answers but I've been around long enough to know not to take on someone else's problem. I've learned that I need to pray for that someone and hold on tight for God to work. Be careful in how you handle things and don't take on someone else's issues of life, but pray for them.
The big change from this conversation was to allow God to work. Prayer works and also praying for words of wisdom to speak to someone else. I know this too well and I'm so different today than years ago. God is faithful, but we must step up and be the woman of God or the man of God he has called us to be. Speaking his word over our homes and living not in defeat.
The Bible speaks of living in freedom and that takes you believing God can do anything. If it doesn't turn out your way, God has a bigger plan. Seek God with all your heart and mind. Think upon positive things today and count blessings. Change the things you can my friend and let go of what you can't. Life is too short to keep going around the same mountain.
THE BIG CHANGE ~
Allow God to mold you daily
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
