For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
I was talking with a friend and he said, "I never thought this was what God has planned for my life". I couldn't really comment after he said that. A young man facing an illness and life changing things. How do we go on after hearing hard news from a doctor and how do we hold tight to faith? Questions and wonders go through one's mind. I came to the place of this, God is the beginning and the end of my life. I shall trust him with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding. I don't know all the answers to life, but I know that trusting the Lord brings my mind to surrender. It's not about what I face, as much as it is about my attitude I face it with. God can do all things and I know that. He will not answer some of my prayers my way and I know that. I am to surrender my will to his will and go about this journey in a joyful way no matter what I face. I believe big for those who are in need and know God is able to change their circumstances suddenly.
I read about a man named Job in the Bible. A man who loved God so much and yet faced unreal situations of life. Having it all and loosing it all. Stepping out by what he knows God said to do and struggles that some of us could never handle. Job was determined to do what God said and do what was right.
Job 13:15 King James Version (KJV)
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
If we could only recognize the enemy of our souls wants to destroy us. Whether that be physically, mentally or spiritually. His plan is take us out and not succeed in this life. The devil can only lie and no need for our communication with him. It takes each of us changing our mindset to positive.
Living a joyful and surrender life to God is so rewarding in many ways. I can look at my life has not being full of blessings, wishing I had more or wanting what someone else has. Yet, I don't know their behind the scenes of life or what they went through to get what they have. Maybe if I knew everything about a person, I wouldn't want to be them anyway. Be careful what you wish for and live your life to the fullest.
THE BEGINNING AND THE END ~
Each of us are uniquely made and designed by God
Psalm 139:14 New International Version (NIV)
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
THE BEGINNING AND THE END ~
Read what God said to Satan about Job.....
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b] also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Could your situation be a test from God? Could he say see my servant (Add your name)? Who knows the real answers to some questions but God. Job is an example of determination and greater things were at the end of his life. In his presence is peace and a joy unspeakable. God has created you for this day, this month and this year. Nothing can happen without his knowledge and I believe that. Sure we go through hard stuff but I can always see the good in the hard. I hope you can do that too. So we don't know what today brings except the joy of the Lord, his will and moving mountains that need to be move by God. Resting in his presence and giving praise of a new day.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
