Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

THE ARMOR OF GOD ~
Putting on these things will help us far more than we might realize.  A new way of thinking and acting on a daily bases.  What if we actually guarded our minds and didn't hold back sharing about Jesus to others?  What if we let go of the things we can not change and change the things we can?  How about we play over the positive things in life each day.

I was in a class last night and we were talking about children.  The child like faith they have at times and the ability not meet a stranger came to my mind this morning. My kids are adults now and I look back at things I wish I had said or did in their lives.  The first thoughts come with the negative about not having a house, a yard and so much more. Then I heard my daughter one day.  She is a mental health counselor for children.  She said living in a mobile home was fine.  It was a place to play outside, swim, play at the basketball court or even the park.  All of this was inside our mobile home park.  Now I have grandchildren and Brookley who is 9 now, told me Grammie don't move, I love it here.

Here is the reasons to move.  I have a dream to own my own home like on TV.  A nice newer one but as I get older, I realize our money isn't in that place of life.  A sudden retirement of my husband and I decided to watch my grandchildren.  Money isn't everything and God does supply our needs.  I want to take the limits off of God and hope that one day, I will have that house I dreamed of life.  Until then, I will love where I am and cherish my grandchildren more than words.  My example makes a difference and I see that. I am bless to have time with them and share stories about the good old days.

YOUR MIND ~
There will be times our minds travel to far away places.  Protection your mind by your own thoughts of yesterdays, todays and even tomorrows.  Darlene gave me a little piece of words that says: LIVE IN TODAY!  I do have learned to do that and plan for tomorrow.

DREAM BIG ~
It's okay to dream, just don't miss out on today!
Prayer makes  difference and changes us on the inside.

Things will come our way and the way we handle it matters.  Handle it by guarding your heart, protection your mind and giving a peaceful answer.  Be good to yourself and take time for you.  We need to rest in knowing GOD IS ABLE.  Things suddenly happen and our lives do change. Change isn't always easy and sometimes it is.  So each day of life, as your put shoes on or get ready for your day, put on the full armor of God.  Purpose this day a good one!

My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
