Deuteronomy 4:28-30 New International Version (NIV)
There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell. 29 But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Verse 29 speaks this, "IF" you seek the Lord, you will find him...seek him with all your heart.
God is a promise keeper and he wants us to seek him. I began to teach Wednesday night on the purpose of seeking the Lord. I felt a stirring within my soul to find God at where I am today. I can think back over yesterdays of life and I can see failures or I can see an overcomer. I can see just how far God has brought me over the last 13 years. I began to share stories with the ladies of how I used to be in life. A hard situation overtook my brain and my spirit was crush. I had to get back up again and it took time and encouragement from others. As I began to seek the Lord, I began to feel a change with the way I viewed things. It was step by step and often times of moment by moment. Our view point really matters in life.
Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE
God wants us to seek him. The devil wants us to see things destroyed. Looking through eyes of pain, instead of eyes of overcoming what we can't change. We can certainly change the things we can and press forward. Never forget that there is power in the name of Jesus. Build your house upon the rock.
Matthew 7:24-29 (NIV)
The Wise and Foolish Builders
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practiceis like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

SEEK THE LORD ~ BUILD YOUR HOUSE UPON THE ROCK JESUS ~ PRESS FORWARD
All of the scriptures above and the stories of victories throughout the Bible can bring us hope. The important part is not giving up and if you are low, find a way to stir your spirit. Listen to music and get out of the house of defeat. One positive thought can lead to another positive thought. Purpose right thinking and actions in life. Purpose this a good day that God has made.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
