Summer is a time of refreshment. The warmth of the sun, a park and sharing time. A family vacation or a get away for a day. Sitting upon the sand, having a picnic lunch and watching the waves. Maybe a get away to the Lake and watching Boats go by or just sitting home and be thankful for all you do have in life.
ECCLESIASTE 11:7-8 (NIV)
7 Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun. 8 However many years anyone may live, let them enjoy them all. But let them remember the days of darkness, for there will be many. Everything to come is meaningless.
Time passes us by so quickly. Before we know it, summer is over and heading into a new season of life. Putting away summer clothes and bringing out a jacket or clothes that are warmer. Things change so fast in our lives and we must purpose not to miss certain things of life. Spending time with family and friends is so valuable. Never take for granted people around you, because things change suddenly. Giving a hug, sending a message or just a quick phone call to someone you care about in life.
Don't forget who you are in God ~
Matthew 5:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Don't forget who you are in God ~
A strong confident person of God. Pressing forward and knowing that God created you this very day. A day that you can make a difference and take care of yourself too. I find myself taking a deep breath at times of life. It helps me to refocus on certain things. Finding the things that truly matter in my life and knowing who I am today in God. I've changed greatly over the years and it's for the better.
Don't forget that you are the light that can not be hidden. After you give your life to God, things change daily because our thinking changes. We look at things different and stir up hope, joy and peace. As this day begins, so does my prayers for you, your family and friends.
