Jeremiah 17:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
A lighthouse to my soul
Luke 6:37-42 New International Version (NIV)Judging Others37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
39 He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
41 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Going to church helps us continue to lean about God, connect with others and develop a growing relationship with God. It's not only God, but others. I have found amazing friendships at church. Life long connects with many. I also like to give God thanks for all I have in life and being a friend. I also volunteer at my church in different areas. I wasn't always like this, but I love who I am today. I do my best daily and I hope you do too. Living in regrets, got me no where but feeling alone. I live in the now and purpose time with family plus friends. Happy Sunday to all of us.
