God, we ask for your help. You said in your word to ask, seek and knock. We are asking and agreeing for change. We are holding on by faith and know that only you can touch a heart to bring change. I'm not going into political views, religion or race, because your word says we are all equal. Yet, we are not equal in many ways. You created us the same and our choices matter in life too. We all have free will and designed up to live in peace. Help America to learn from the protest going on now and help stop destroying local businesses, local stores and the needs of those to buy food and supplies. I want to pray for older people. Let us not forget that many are still sheltered in place and you see the news and it brings fear. God, your not a God of fear and I pray for those right now that feel alone during this time. We are living in a world and making history. Let good come from this season of life and help us to grow into better people not bitter people. I believe voices have been heard loud and clear with violence. Now is the time to bring peaceful protest and change to our cities. I pray now for George Floyd's family. I can't image their pain, because I know mine from the video I watched. Nobody should ever see their loved be treated like George Floyd was. It's time to stand up for what's right and let voices be heard peacefully. God, we pray for change for all americans. GOD WE NEED YOU NOW! AMEN
My heart is sad as I watch TV and see the local business destroyed. Owners saying they won't be able to rebuild and that changes their lives. Let us not fight each other, but the government for change. What if that was your parents store or a family owned business that just begun. Shelter in place has hurt us so many financially and things were just starting to reopen in California and other states. We must see the larger picture and how hurtful this is to all of us. Protest yes, but violence no.
My prayers continue for each one who read this, your family and friends. I take what I learned from a teenager and applied it forever. Peace is the answer. PRAYER does change things and please pray for those hurting today.
