Matthew 7:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
SUCH A GREAT EXAMPLE ~
Think of someone who has made a difference in your life.
Jesus is one who shines as an example of doing what is right. He walked this earth to complete his mission of the Lord and generations to generations we read of his story. Not only his story, but there is power in the name of Jesus. Leading not to our own understanding at times, but God's ways. I am a person who has seen miracles and lived through hard things of life. I remember days of not much food, tears of how to pay bills and stress of aging mom plus a mother in law. Days spent at care homes and hospitals. They both rest in Heaven now.
My mom and mother in law:
Two women who lives through hard times too, but both believed in Jesus. I can see how Jesus made a difference in their lives and others around them. One of the workers at my moms care home, told me that she was such a woman of faith. I was shocked because I didn't even know she talked about God to the workers. Her life definitely made a difference in her last days. It brings me to this question, what will people say about me after my days are gone? What will people say about you after your days are gone? Our examples matters my friends. Let us shine for Jesus, walk by faith and make a difference everyday of life. It's good to tell your story to someone and allow others into your life too.
